Nothing much to say about this shot. I was just location scouting and was checking out the vantage point from above at this intersection. The lighting was quite amazing at this time of day with the darkness of the shadows against the harsh light beaming down the street between the buildings from the sun.
I often forget that I live in such a beautiful city. I complain about the weather almost three quarters of the year and often take what the city has to offer for granted. It is exercises like location scouting, where the client is wanting to capture Vancouver in the imagery, that I revisit the city with a different perspective and love this city all over again. Most things are conveniently accessible by foot, bike, or minutes of driving. What's not to love about that?
